It was a definite honor for us to be invited to the HSSC Healthcare Leadership Meeting East despite being a much smaller organization in terms of financial solvency compared to leading corporate hospitals, health service providers, various health universities who were invited to this meet at Vivanta Hotel, Bhubaneswar on 22nd August, 2024.
HSSC is a recognized Awarding body by NCVET under ambit of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt of India regulated by the Governing Council comprising of Chairman Dr. Naresh Trehan (Chairman, Medanta – The Medicity), Academic Chairman Dr. Devi Shetty (Chairman, Narayana Health) and other distinguished members for assessing and certifying candidates on skill qualifications in healthcare sector including AYUSH, social sector and Hospital management services standardized by HSSC with support of industry experts, academia, line ministries and regulators. https://www.healthcare-ssc.in
Not only the presence, but being included as a member of the four-member special task force formed in last leadership meet at Kolkata for the expansion of its activities in East and North-East India and advocacy in various activities in the future is also another significant credential for us.
I am also honored to have the opportunity to make a special presentation as a member of the Task Force at this important meeting. on future planning and implementation of HSSC’s different courses and activities in Eastern and North Eastern states of India.
Many important decisions were taken in this meeting after the open forum discussion by the CEOs and MDs of different corporate hospitals and healthcare providers and Vice Chancellors of many universities ang representatives from NSDC and obviously higher officials of HSSC including Mr. Rupak Barua, Chairman of HSSC East and Mr. Asish Jain, CEO of HSSC present in the meeting, which will definitely play a vital role and will add new dimension in the healthcare sector of the whole country especially in this part in the coming days.
