In the year 2002 Banchbo organized a State Level Seminar on Mental Health by active participation of eminent psychiatrist, eminent psychologist, organisation related with mental health (Anubhav, Life Line, Mentaid), social worker, media personalities at Khudiram Hall.
Documentary Film
Actively participated in documentary film making on Breast Cancer- “DISHA”(The Direction) produced by Breast Clinic Division of IPGME&R(SSKM Hospital) under supervision of Dr. Diptendra Sarkar (MS,FRCS), Incharge of Breast Clinic & role play by Dr. Dhires Kumar Chowdhury.
Training Workshop For Health Professionals With LSU Under Bengal Heritage Project:
Aim: Training of Health care personnel of Kolkata & remote areas by experts from UK & India about the application of Scientific & modern techniques related to health care management specially in Maternal & Child care & Elderly care.

First venture under this project:
A workshop was organised on 7th Feb.2017 at Auditorium of College of Nursing, Medical college, Kolkata as a part of Mother & Child care initiative under the Bengal Heritage Project 2017 in association with College of Nursing ,Kolkata on the topic “Role of Nursing in Obstetric emergency & Neonatal Resuscitation. The main speaker was Dr. Sharmistha Guha, MRCOG, UK based renowned consultant Obstetrician &Gynaecologist associated with Royal College of Gynaecology.Principal of Medical College, Kolkata and eminent Obstetrician& Gynaecologist Professor Dr.Tapan Kumar Lahiri, Principal of college of Nursing, Medical college, Kolkata Professor Smt. Smriti Mani along with other distinguished Doctors from different fields and eminent personalities were graced the occasion. Around 150 final year students of M.Sc, B.Sc & B.Sc post basic nursing & Faculties College of Nursing Medical College, Kolkata enriched with the knowledge of workshop.
