BSHSD is a unit of Banchbo Sociocultural Association situated in Kolkata & Sundarban,West
Bengal, India. BSHSD started with noble mission of providing a unique learning & earning
opportunity for marginalized youth to pursue different professional & job-oriented course
at an affordable cost. Our training has dual effect – creating trained & dedicated personnel &
gives them opportunity to get a dignified earning option & other hand sick people will get
trained people who can take cares their problem with knowledge & with sincerity. We are
the INSTITUTIONAL ASSOCIATE OF HEALTHCARE SECTOR SKILL COUNCIL, GOVERNMENT OF
INDIA.We are also training partner of ALL INDIA COUNCIL FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING.

Eligibility

Duration of courses

  • CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT COURSE:
    1 YEAR ( 6 Months Theory including orientation duties in our Elderly Healthcare unit + 6 Months Practical at reputed Hospitals).
  • CERTIFIED BEDSIDE ASSISTANT COURSE:
    1 YEAR ( 6 Months Theory including orientation duties in our Elderly Healthcare unit + 6 Months Practical at reputed Hospitals).
  • CERTIFIED ECG TECHNICIAN COURSE:
    4 MONTHS ( 3 Months Theory + 1 Month Practical in our Elderly Healthcare unit )
  • CERTIFIED PHLEBOTOMIST COURSE:
    4 MONTHS ( 2 Months Theory + 2 Month Practical in our Elderly Healthcare unit )

Examination

After completion of Theoretical course all students should appear Written & Practical (Both Clinical & Nursing) examination including Project work & Field work & to qualify their Practical training all student should minimum score 50% marks in each paper, other wise unsuccessful student should reappear in Supplementary examination.

Certificate

After successful completion of both Theory & Practical we provides Certificate to each student from BSHSD. Separate certificate is provided for Practical training from concern hospital or diagnostic institute (for ECG/Phlebotomy) & for elderly care training from our elderly healthcare unit Banchbo healing touch (www.facebook.com/BANCHBO).

Scholarship

Though our course fees are very nominal & affordable for every one ( For CNA – INR. 5000 or 59.427 British Pound for entire course & For CET & CPT – INR. 3,000 or 35.657 British Pound for entire course ) but considering their financial constrains we provide scholarship for most marginalized students full exemption of fees if they got 50% or more marks in board examination & half of fees if 40% to 49% marks.We received these scholarship from LSU & our well wishers.)

Joint certification

As per MOU signed successful students of BSHSD will be jointly certified by Noble International University,Canada.(*condition apply)

No. of students per batch

To provide personal attention to each students our each batch is limited within 25 students.

Scope of jobs after completion

All our successful students already got dignified job in Private Nursing Home & Home Healthcare with respectable remuneration ( INR.10,000 & above per month).

Background of students

Majority of students are from remote Sundarban, Purulia & West Midnapur & slum areas of Kolkata & most of them are first generation learner & came from very poor socio-economic background even from tribal family.
